LEARNING TO MAKE THEIR MONEY TALK

MILWAUKEE - The Housing Authority's Hillside Family Resource Center was alive with enthusiasm December 13th as eighty-five people graduated from the Make Your Money Talk course, which is offered jointly by HACM and the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC). Many family members, friends and other supporters joined in the celebration.

Since 2004, the four-week program has provided over 600 people with intensive financial education, helping many of them move towards their education, business and homeownership goals.

Speakers included Common Council President and HACM Board Chair Willie L. Hines, Jr., former Make Your Money Talk graduate Toni Hall, and President/Owner of Diamond Discs International, Ugo Nwagbaraocha.
